About Sara
Sara’s Mission
Sara began her career defending corporations and institutions in complex wrongful death, serious injury, product liability, and other civil matters. That background gives her valuable insight into how defendants and insurers defend cases—insight she now brings to every case she handles for plaintiffs. Throughout her career, Sara’s work has earned recognition from her peers and leading legal publications, including Ohio Super Lawyers® Rising Stars® and Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch®.
Sara is known for her meticulous preparation, strong work ethic, and client-centered approach. She digs into the facts, asks the difficult questions, and puts in the work needed to understand a case from every angle. She also listens closely to her clients and makes sure the direction of the case reflects what matters most to them.
Originally from Celina, Ohio, Sara was shaped by a close-knit community where trust and service matter. Watching her father practice law in a small town instilled in her the belief that people should have access to excellent legal representation regardless of where they live or the resources available to them. At Cooper Elliott, she is proud to bring the firm’s experience and commitment to justice to individuals and families throughout Ohio, including those in rural and underserved communities.
Sara earned her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and her Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from Capital University Law School, where she graduated in the top five of her class. She is active in the legal community and is passionate about mentoring the next generation of attorneys.
Outside the office, Sara enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs, snowboarding, water sports, and traveling.
