About Moufid

Moufid’s Mission
When facing injustice, feeling unheard can be one of the greatest burdens. My mission is to listen, understand, and advocate for every client with compassion and resolve, because every voice deserves to be heard, and every story deserves to be told. Regardless of the circumstances, the facts in dispute, or the opposing party, I am committed to ensuring your voice is heard and your interests are vigorously represented.

Moufid was inspired to pursue law by his family’s journey and their emphasis on education, sacrifice, and service. Raised primarily in Youngstown, Ohio, Moufid developed an appreciation for the resilience and determination that defines the community values, that continues to guide his approach to representing clients today. While attending law school, Moufid began his legal career through prestigious judicial clerkships with the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and the Supreme Court of Ohio. These experiences provided him with a unique perspective on how judges at both the state and federal levels evaluate legal arguments, weigh evidence, and reach decisions. The insight he gained from working closely with the judiciary confirmed his passion for trial advocacy and inspired him to become a trial lawyer. Before joining Cooper Elliott, Moufid gained hands-on litigation experience representing clients in a variety of legal matters. He has appeared in courts throughout Ohio and developed significant courtroom experience early in his career through jury trials, contested hearings, and motion practice. Today, Moufid is dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate some of the most challenging moments of their lives, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are protected.Moufid lives in Columbus, Ohio. Outside of the office, he enjoys jet skiing, home renovation projects, and spending time with his parents and younger brother.

“We were treated with respect, compassion, and with the utmost concern. We were represented by Bart and Abby during a two week trial. They were supported by their paralegal Sommer, who was exceptional in her own right. Bart and Abby’s legal acumen was highly impressive. They were cool, calm, and collected every step of the way. Their determination to not back down from any unfavorable and or biased rulings issued, kept us feeling that we had a team representing us that truly cared and were determined to give it their all to seek justice.”
