Justice isn’t just about laws; it’s about people. And for Kimberly Burroughs, fighting for people has always been the mission. No matter the case, her approach is the same: empower clients to tell their own stories, because real justice begins with being heard.
About Kimberly
Kimberly’s Mission
An experienced and tenacious attorney, Kimberly has spent her career taking on the toughest battles—prosecuting felony offenses, standing up against civil rights violations, reconnecting families, expanding access to justice, and advocating for a fairer legal system before the Ohio Supreme Court.
Kimberly didn’t go to law school to climb a career ladder—she went to make a difference. Since earning her law degree in 2016, she has worked on the front lines of justice. As a trial prosecutor, she handled cases of reckless driving, domestic violence, child abuse, and sexual assault. In the nonprofit sector, she helped push the law forward to protect workers, parents, and students from discrimination. And when she took her advocacy to the appellate level, she successfully fought for the statewide expansion of legal protections for Ohio’s most vulnerable residents.
Kimberly has earned a reputation as a fearless and relentless advocate because when people’s futures are at stake, she believes the fight for justice is not optional. It’s necessary.
