Attorney
Spencer didn’t originally set out to become an attorney. She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology with the intention of becoming a traditional counselor. However, she soon realized that her ability to read people, communicate effectively, and deeply understand what others are going through could be channeled into a different kind of counseling: the law.
At Cooper Elliott, Spencer views her role as a storyteller for her clients. She knows that when people come to her, they are rarely just looking for a paycheck; they are looking for accountability. They want to ensure that the tragedy they experienced never happens to anyone else.
About Spencer
Spencer’s Mission
Spencer joined Cooper Elliott in 2024 after gaining invaluable defense-side litigation experience at a large law firm in Ohio. Today, she leverages that behind-the-scenes perspective of how the “other side” operates to zealously advocate for plaintiffs.
Every client and every case is different, which is what Spencer loves most about her practice. She focuses her work on wrongful death, catastrophic injury, trucking accidents, civil rights, business disputes, and abuse cases. For Spencer, the ultimate reward is reaching a resolution where she can look at a client and say, “We made this change happen.”
