Cooper Elliott is pleased to announce that Attorney Lindsay Lawrence has joined the firm’s Cincinnati office as a partner, expanding its medical malpractice, wrongful death, and catastrophic injury practice.

Lawrence has built her career representing individuals and families harmed by negligent hospitals and healthcare providers, with a focus on brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, wrongful death, and anesthesia errors. She has secured multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements on behalf of clients, including a $6 million verdict for injuries caused by OB/GYN negligence and a $3 million wrongful death verdict.
“When medical care causes harm instead of healing, families are left searching for answers, accountability, and a way forward,” Lawrence said. “I’ve dedicated my career to representing individuals injured by medical malpractice, wrongful death, and other catastrophic injury cases.”
Lawrence is the Immediate Past President of the Ohio Association for Justice, the largest plaintiff lawyer organization in the state, with more than 1,200 members. She has been repeatedly selected by U.S. News & World Report as a Best Lawyer for Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury, recognized by Super Lawyers, and earlier in her career was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star.
A graduate of the University of Cincinnati and Salmon P. Chase College of Law, Lawrence is admitted to practice in Ohio and Kentucky courts, as well as the United States Supreme Court. She is a member of the American Association for Justice, Ohio State Bar Association, Cincinnati Bar Association, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and Litigation Counsel of America, and founded the Young Professionals Section of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. She also volunteers with Legal Aid of Cincinnati.
